AO is a download/streaming service for independent music, which equally honors musicians and consumers.

digital music downloads (that are not restricted)
new recordings, rare archive recordings and never before released live recordings
guidance to the listener with intelligent commentary
recommendations and links to artists’ websites / tour dates and more.
Audiences are brought closer to the musicians; musicians retain ownership of their work.
AO has a clear agenda – that is: the encouragement of new music and new ideas. Independent music fosters a more free society and the benefits of digital distribution (lower cost, ease of distribution) will encourage more independent music.
One key element of the service is to promote a new relationship between artist and listener, allowing listeners to feel closer to the spirit of the music and by supporting favorite artists directly. Each listener becomes in a way like a ‘patron of the arts’ – contributing freely to the artist’s survival.
