| Born in 1978. Raised in New Jersey. I went thru 7 different schools before graduating from highschool. In highschool i traded in sports for the arts and found a real avenue and celebration in participating in the arts. Like Bill Lawsell playing music was a social venue where comfort and risk come hand in hand. I try to not have formal training while investigating in challenges in discover what and why I dislike certain things. After High school I enlisted in the military. I was honorably discharged and then rode a bicycle across the country. On route I would write the sounds down in my books. In the books when I returned I was struck for a fierce determination of improvisation. My process is different then that of who I am inspired from. My craft is a mixture of who I am inspired from though. To name a few Amiri Baraka, Derek Bailey, James Joyce, Zappa, Zorn, Henry Darger, and Wesley Willis. My craft is how I learn the instument My process of a listener is how I feel connected to what I produce. I moved to AZ in 2008. Here I am. I am so thankful to be included in this beautiful vehicle. |
